Sue Harris

An international senior executive with extensive general management, business development, marketing and executive search experience in the pharmaceutical and consumer healthcare sectors.

• Former Managing Director in Europe for one of the fastest growing executive search firms, focused on executive search assignments in the Healthcare, Scientific, Consumer and Industrial Products and Services Industries.

• Commercial Director on the main board of Quadrant Healthcare plc, a UK listed plc in the drug delivery sector.

• Broad international experience including country general management roles in Germany and Norway. Has lived in 6 countries and has extensive experience in managing senior cross-cultural teams.

• General Manager for Warner Lambert Germany, responsible for a newly established consumer healthcare business which grew to DM100m. The key brands included Zovirax OTC, the consumer brand Listerine and the decongestant Olynth.

• Responsible for the international licensing function at Wellcome plc. Was the youngest country general manager and the first female general manager in the organisation.

• In early career held sales and marketing positions with Beecham and Procter & Gamble and held strategic marketing roles with Reckitt & Colman and Wellcome.

• Responsibilities have included:
  • Full P & L responsibility.
  • Directly managed finance, medical and regulatory affairs functions, customer service.
  • Licensing, acquisition, new product development.
  • Strategic marketing; project management; interface with operations, manufacturing, research and development, quality and legal departments.

• Bachelor of Commerce (Hons) from Edinburgh University.
  • Diploma in commercial French.
  • Practitioner in Neurolinguistic Programming (NLP).
  • Speaks French, German and Norwegian.
